This garden started as a wide expanse of grass with one incredible asset, a view of Victoria's Gorge waterway. The client's wanted just a small lawn for young visitors, but largely they wanted a woodland style garden. The garden's main asset was also it's biggest challenge. How do we create an interesting, comfortable garden without blocking the view of the Gorge? The garden had to include only plants that would grow to six feet tall or less, and any taller plants had to be kept to either side of the yard.
